Casino Royale gives the creatively-stalling franchise a much needed breath of fresh air. First, Daniel Craig. He adds new dimensions that were lacking with the Bond of recent years. Indeed, he brings vulnerability, lethalness (now, Bond at least looks credible with a gun in his hands!) and seriousness to complement his trademark charm, wittiness and humor. Second, the non-sense gadgets are out the window (finally!). Let the Bond-wannabes (e.g. Triple X) have the invisible car and all the other stupid gadgets in the World. The real Bond is going back to the basics that made the first Bonds so cool, which include involving story and interesting characters.

If they can't, they're seriously in the wrong line of business.
