Orkut (google social site) is way better (clean and intuitive) than Facebook. I don't know why you guys are such Firefox whores. I LOVE FIREFOX! But I think that IE7 is a vast improvement over IE6 and works great. I also have Opera, which seems to be the fastest of the browsers, but is a resource monger. By default I use Firefox because I like the placement of the RSS Feed bar, but they're all quality browsers. This may or may not be BS. It really depends on how much a family buys. The 1% increase in sales tax will cost the average family roughly $275 in additonal tax. If the proposed savings in property tax is greater than $275 then the average family is saving money. Of course if you don't own a home you'll be paying more in sales tax without recouping that money from another source. It all depends on your situation. My personal belief is that they dropped the ball on this. People that really could use the tax break, those families of 4 that have an annual income of less than $60,000 that might be renting an apartment are really getting screwed. One of the things Corzine didn’t want to do was increase the state tax of those families making over $250,000, an option that the state senate proposed as a compromise to the sales tax hike. This was the wrong thing to do. I for one believe that Corzine does want to get NJ on the right path but he’s going about it in the wrong manner. They need to increase the tax on the higher income families while assisting those lower income families. Increasing the sales tax, while unilateral across all income groups, really doesn’t help the people that need the helping hand.
