I'm not sure it's the person playing Bond so much as the settings and time of the film. The 60's - 70's bond flicks just have an exotic feel to them. I just don't like the look of modern movies for some reason. I can't decide what it is. Maybe it's that every "live action" flick seems more like a cartoon from all the CG work. CG has it's place but every movie uses it these days. I'm sure there's a film expert here that can tell me what it is about the modern film that I hate. I'm probably just getting old, but I prefer the "not-so-perfect" quality of the films in the older eras.
