The system is on a Power Progressive, which allows the software to choose, at random, a machine on the casino floor to be a winner. Some power progressives can be chosen to pay out once per day, week, month, year. Each power progressive takes a certain amount of time to accumulate money to reach it's progressive potential. Meaning, the longer the progressive goes on without a winner, the more it will payout, and the more likely it is to hit. I'm unsure what the reset rate of this power progressive is (the reset is the amount minimum you can win after the power progressive resets after a winner), and what the rate of hit is, but I'm sure that this error was operation/software side, and the amount shouldn't be paid.
