Convienience is a factor on whether people vote or not. Often enough, thats why people don't vote. Where I live, we do things quite differently, there are no polls, everyone gets a ballot in the mail and we turn it in at the local county auditors office in a drop box. This way no one who wants to vote gets screwed unless they are unable to mail or deliver the ballot in time. Of course, we can't do exit polls and such, but we get more voters this way.
