Anyone know exactly how his using myspace caused the software to be installed? Was it an actual program he had to run, or was it a flaw in myspace that allowed it to run. Makes you wonder if he was using IE or Firefox, or if he was doing a remote session to that server in italy and accessing it from there

My girlfriend has approached me with putting Ubuntu on her laptop on a second partition. She doesn't like Windows Vista (Home Basic) at all, and doesn't want to buy a mac yet. I was caught off guard and aroused at the same time.
You can't install Linux on a girlfriend, but I'm sure that wouldn't stop a true geek from trying :D
