However, Straw Polls do have a point, otherwise, why would they even exist? The point of straw polls is to gauge the support of the various candidates so that candidates have some feel for their actual chances and can adjust their strategies accordingly. Ron Paul is cleaning up, because more people who support Ron Paul are willing to actually show up and vote. And guess what? When election time rolls around, it will be the same thing all over again. Even a tiny group, which is passionate and votes for their candidate, can be decisive in an election when the other candidates have scores of supporters who really just don't care, who only know that their candidate is the lesser of two evils, and who probably will not take the time and effort to vote. Your grade school taunts are not impressive. We are not pathetic, we are happy to have a candidate we actually believe in, and we are not losers, we have already won, because we have freed our minds, and we will elect our candidate.
